The Partner Dashboard is a valuable tool for partner admins, managing the safety of multiple client accounts at once. To reduce the time and friction that comes from them manually switching security views for different accounts, we developed the Partner Dashboard, presenting an aggregated view of all risks for selected accounts.
The account filter gives a clear overview of all your connected accounts and their associated groups, as well as lets you control the dynamic risk information displayed in the widgets. Just tick the checkboxes for the specific accounts and groups you wish to see information from and press “Apply Filter.”
All filters on the Partner Dashboard will persist between sessions.
The alerts widget in the Partner Dashboard displays all recent alerts with an impact radius intersecting the location of any asset (end-user, facility, or travel booking destination). This information lets you detect any potential threats to your assets and proactively initiate an incident response process to ensure their safety. You can quickly resolve alerts to remove them from the list, filter them based on preference, and download data for external analysis. Filter out all alerts with a specific risk level (low, medium, or high), resolved alerts, or those published in a specific country.
Click “Go to alert” in the widget to access a detailed view and visual presentation of the incident that has taken place. The page contains a world map view onto which the incident location is marked. Below the map, you will see the alert severity, alert risk categories, and affected countries listed.
The alert description contains additional information about what has happened, as well as a section with assessments made by the analysts and advice on how to act to avoid risk to the greatest extent possible.
In the area
Further down the same view, you will find a section called “In the area.” Here, you will find the exact names of all assets you have nearby. Apply User and Traveler Filter if you are looking for a specific user/group. The filter options are 1) App users 2) Status: I’m OK 3) Status: Unknown 4) Status: Emergency.
Note: the users included were located within the incident area during the time of the alert publication or traveled into the area up to 24 hours after the alert was published.
From here, you also find contextual information for each affected user:
- Position type: displays information on the privacy settings the user has set in the app. Non-app users will show travel booking in this field.
- Latest location report: indicates when the user’s app sent the latest location report or when location data from a travel booking was processed.
- Near event location: displays information on why the user is considered affected by the alert. For example, “Within Range” states that the user has an exact location report within one of the radius of the alert. “In Region” means that the user either has a higher level of privacy settings in the app and the alert is published within the same region.
- On the right-hand side, you find information on if the user has the app installed, if they have clicked “I’m OK” in the app under the relevant alert, and if the user has an ongoing emergency that they have initiated.
Ensure your people’s safety by clicking the “message users” button and communicating with all affected. For efficient communication, filter out the ones who have not reported that they are OK, in the context of the alert.
Note: as a measure of protecting your clients’ data privacy, you must communicate with the different accounts separately and can thereby not contact all people across accounts at the same time.
Country risk exposure widget
Identify which assets are, or may come to be, exposed to the different country risk levels with the country risk exposure widget. The disposition of the widget can be different depending on which risk intelligence providers’ tab you are in (see images below), for example, the number of country risk levels may vary. Each risk level, regardless of risk intelligence provider, contains information about 1) the number of users 2) upcoming travel bookings, and 3) facilities – that are exposed to the given risk level.
To increase relevancy, the widget can be filtered with selected countries and risk levels.
To see details on what countries your assets are located in, each row can be expanded by clicking “Show Details.”
Did you know that you can override the overall risk level for a country set by Safeture? With the country editor, you can set your own risk level for a specific country to comply with any methodology or requirements you might have.
The emergencies widget gives you a clear overview of all ongoing emergencies, together with relevant contextual information about the user. The Emergencies widget is always displayed in the Partner Dashboard regardless of whether there are or aren’t any ongoing emergencies. In the latter case, the widget will show the text “No Active Emergencies.”
How is an emergency initiated?
Whenever an end-user presses the emergency button in the Safeture mobile application, an emergency is activated in the system. The emergency widget in both the Dashboard and the Partner Dashboard will then automatically update within seconds.
If you click the button “Show Details” you will be shown the user’s last location report, last contact with the app, and information on when the emergency was initiated. From this view, you can also start your emergency response and communicate with the user.
Emergencies will remain in the list until it has been resolved by an admin, which is handled by clicking “Show Details”.
Emergency notifications to admins:
- Whenever there is an ongoing emergency, there will be a red flashing icon in the sidebar menu next to the icon for the Partner Dashboard.
- If enabled by the administrator, sound notifications will be triggered for incoming emergencies.
- Depending on the settings made by the admin on the settings page of the web portal, they will receive an SMS and/or email when an emergency button has been pressed.
- In the list of accounts (account filter), there will also be a red warning triangle next to the account with an ongoing emergency:
After being resolved, the emergency will show in the log for that user, both on his/her profile details and in the log found in the Security Overview:
The chats widget shows all ongoing chats sorted in chronological order. Those chats with unred messages can easily be distinguished with a yellow-colored background.
Clicking on any of the chats will take you to the Communications Module, where you can follow up by sending another message to those who have not responded to the previous ones and so on. From the Communications Module, you can also archive a chat, which will automatically remove it from the chats widget as well.
